During my internship with Zimmer Biomet, I gained hands-on experience that directly contributed to preparing me for a career in medical sales. Working alongside experienced professionals in the medical device industry, I had the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and trends shaping the market. I was able to shadow sales representatives, observe client interactions, and assist in the development of marketingstrategies, which gave me valuable insight into the sales process in the medical field. This exposure helped me understand the technical aspects of the products, as well as the importance of building relationships with healthcare professionals and understanding their needs. The internship also allowed me to sharpen my communication and problem-solving skills, which are essential in medical sales. I observed how sales reps tailor their pitches to different audiences, adapting their approach based on the specific needs of each customer. Additionally, I was involved in the preparation of product demonstrations and training materials, learning the importance of clear, concise communication when presenting complex medical devices. Overall, my time at Zimmer Biomet provided me with the practical experience and industry knowledge that will be invaluable as I pursue a career in medical sales.

Working as a server at The Dan, a Hilton hotel in downtown Tampa, has been an invaluable experience in developing my customer service and communication skills. In this fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment, I’ve had the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. I’ve learned how to manage multiple tasks at once, from taking orders and serving food to handling special requests and maintaining a positive atmosphere. This role has also taught me the importance of attention to detail, teamwork, and maintaining professionalism in a high-energy setting, all of which have helped me build strong interpersonal skills that will benefit me in any future career.
Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach
As the assistant coach for the girls’ volleyball team at Paul VI High School, I had the privilege of being part of a highly motivated and talented team that made it to the state finals. This experience allowed me to contribute to the team’s growth both on and off the court, assisting in skill development, strategy planning, and fostering team dynamics. Working closely with the players, I helped them stay focused and motivated throughout the season, ultimately reaching an impressive level of success. Being part of this journey not only strengthened my coaching skills but also taught me the value of teamwork, leadership, and perseverance in achieving goals.
